Information we collect
- Account — email, and a password hash or OAuth (GitHub/Google/Apple) identifier.
- Content — the shows and media you save or publish, stored on our servers/object storage so they sync across your devices.
- Billing — handled by Stripe; we store only subscription status and purchase records, never card numbers.
- Usage & analytics — basic server logs to operate and secure the service, plus aggregate site-usage analytics via Google Analytics (see Cookies below).
How we use it
To provide the service, sync your shows and media, process payments, enforce entitlements for premium content, respond to support requests, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Sharing
We share data only with processors that run the service: hosting/infrastructure, our database, Stripe (payments), object storage for media, OAuth providers you choose to sign in with, and Google Analytics. We do not sell your personal information. Published community shows and media are visible to other users of the service.
Cookies
Projector Show uses a single httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in — this is required for the service to function. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand aggregate site usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Data retention
We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. As a beta service, data may occasionally be reset or migrated; back up anything important to you.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it's used.
- Delete your personal information — you can permanently delete your account and its data from your account settings, or by emailing us.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

Children
Projector Show is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
